Ah, the festival. The kind of place where you can cast your life problems aside for 2-3 nights of bliss, the kind of place where you can drink your body weight in beer and nobody can tell you differently, the kind of place where you’ll make some of the best memories with your friends and make many more. It’s safe to say there’s nothing like a festival experience.
In saying that, the newly bred festival ‘All Together Now’ in Waterford, Ireland, has really grabbed our attention with what they have lined up this weekend.
Stepping away from the usual house & techno stacked line-ups, All Together Now have curated something very unique. With Chaka Khan, Thundercat, Hot Chip, Reggie Watts, Horse Meat Disco, Eclair FiFi, Fish Go Deep + an absolute heap more, you’re in for a completely extravagant experience this weekend.
Located in the incredible setting of Curraghmore House, Waterford, All Together Now will be curating over 6 incredible stages across the grounds. The site boasts an insane 2,500 acres of land and was originally founded in 1170, quite a long time ago! I wonder did they have festivals like this happening back then, hmm?
Giant Inflatable Church
You may be aware the Irish people are quite a holy bunch, but you would never have expected a giant inflatable church to get married in, did you? Well, All Together Now are bringing in the best of the best with their on-site Church for all your marriage and praying needs.
Nothing literally beats it! No matter where you go in the world, there’s nothing quite like the Irish crowd. Like-minded, respectful, energetic and all of the positive things you would want with a crowd, the Irish have it! Go into this festival with an open mind/heart and you’ll be sure to be leaving with over 30+ new Irish friends.
You may have seen this stage at many festivals across the world, including Burning Man and UMF etc, but have you ever seen it in a land full of green grass and some of the finest local Irish talents on it? If not, this is your chance to finally see it in the flesh!
The Arcadia stage for people who aren’t aware, is an old structure re-built from the ground up with old refurbished military gear. Unlike many other stages, the ravers can dance all the way around it with a 360 degree view. For the DJ booth, there are pillars separated all around it and above it which shoot up huge balls of fire. It’s unlike anything on this world, you should most definitely make it your mission to see this!
Bank Holiday Weekend
The bank holiday weekend is always a big time for the Irish people! Why so you ask?
It’s a time where everyone in the country is given the Monday off, which usually results in people going that extra mile with their partying on Sunday! Perfect for nobody wanting to head to work the next morning after the madness on Sunday.
Most festivals around the world are completely targetted at 18+ people, and for good reason! They can be quite a dangerous place for children as it’s so easy for them to get lost in such a big space, but with All Together Now, they’ve made it very clear that the festival is going to be focused at children just as much as the adults.
Who wouldn’t enjoy bringing their kids for a day-out to one of the best festivals Ireland has to offer?
