Ibiza is an unforgiving beast that can chew you up and spit you out quicker than you can say San Antonio but that’s why we love it. There are very few places in the world that offer the same experience at the same quality that Ibiza does. However, high-paced action with the best clubs in the world does come at a price and sometimes quite a hefty price. The price tag can often put people off heading to the white isle to experience all it has to offer but the price should not put you off this once in a lifetime experience so with that here are our top tips for doing Ibiza on a budget!
Buy Tickets In Advance
Tickets into the clubs can take a sizeable chunk out of your budget and that’s before you’ve even stood foot on the island. You can save quite a bit of money on tickets and all it takes is a little forward planning. Mark out who you want to see, when and where well in advance and pick up your tickets at discounted prices. The earlier you buy the tickets the cheaper they will be! Simple! Head over to our Ibiza Club News Tickets Page to buy your tickets now!
A very clever way to get more partying in and have your club entry covered. Many of the boat parties offer free entry into several different clubs after you sail so you’re getting two parties for the price of one! Our two favourites are Cirque de la Nuit and Float Your Boat. For example, Cirque de la Nuit offer a free bar, club entry and a 3-hour rave at sea for their ticket price which is the ideal way to make the most out of your Ibiza experience.
Free Daytime Activities
They say the best things in life are free and this can be very true if you’re looking for pure unadulterated fun in Ibiza. Simple pleasures like lying on a beach with your mates, hiking, cliff jumping and swimming in the warm waters, there’s so much to do that won’t cost you a penny!
Get To Know The Workers
Ibiza workers are the ideal people to make friends with while you’re on the island. These guys know the island inside out and can tell you all the secrets of the island which can save you tonnes of cash. From free entry to clubs, where to find the cheapest beer and so much more, we would strongly advise finding some workers to hang out with!
Be Smart About Where You Eat
Eating may seem very cheap but it can add up when you’re eating out every day of the week. Be smart about what and where you eat by choosing a supermarket to pick up a cheap lunch instead of heading to a bar or café. The same goes for the evening time but if you are going to eat out try to pick places that are off the beaten track. You can find some amazing restaurants ran by the locals, for the locals which can save you a pretty penny.
The number one tip that will save you a ridiculous amount of cash. Why pay €10-€15 for a beer in the clubs when you could pick up local beers for €1 or €2? Plus it’s a lot of fun drinking with your mates in a relaxed setting before the carnage of the clubs kick in!
Ibiza is a relatively small island but if you’re forking out for taxis from San An to Playa d’en Bossa every night, it can really eat away at your budget. Enter disco buses. Using the Ibiza Club News disco buses, you can spend €3 and get to the clubs with a gang of like-minded revellers on the cheap. Sorted!
Money should never be a reason for anyone to miss out on Ibiza. It’s something everyone should experience at least once in their lives so what are you waiting for? Don’t let money stop you!
