It’s been almost a year since we lost Space Ibiza but through the loss of the once great clubbing icon, we look to the silver lining and the new beginnings which have looked very promising in Hï Ibiza with a string of high-quality shows and residents. A wise man once said, “life can only be understood backwards, but it must be lived forwards” and that’s exactly what Space Warehouse in San Antonio plans to do.
The Space Warehouse contains memorabilia from the legendary venue including old furnishings and numerous photos from days gone by. The Space Warehouse also doubles as a shop with Space merchandise and memorabilia for sale.
The club’s most famous resident, Carl Cox and owner Pepe Rosello cut the ribbon to open the museum on Monday.
Space first opened its doors in 1989, closing 27 years later with a party of biblical proportions that captured the hearts of clubbers the world over.
