Cala Jondal is one of the island’s more up market beaches and offers a much more chilled out and relaxed atmosphere than some of the island’s busier spots. Here you can relax in the sun or eat in one of the beach’s restaurants that are often frequented by the rich and famous.
A fifteen minute drive from Ibiza town, Cala Jondal is only accessible by car or, if you’re lucky enough, by private boat. There is plenty of parking around the beach, although, lots of it is attached to local restaurants and bars so be prepared to buy some food or drink if you want to avail of their facilities.
The beach comes equipped with all of the amenities you would expect including; loungers, parasols, showers, lifeguards and has disabled access. If you want to really relax you can also be able to have a massage on the beach. Because of this chilled atmosphere, there is no water sports or activities available on this beach, although you can rent pedalos if you like.
There are plenty of restaurants around Cala Jondal but, be warned, they can be busy and may require advanced booking. You’ll also find beach bars with live music and, of course, Cala Jondal is home to Blue Marlin, one of the island’s most popular VIP beach clubs.
