Cala Salada is a small two hundred meter stretch of beach that takes a bit of effort to get tom but if you make it you will find a perfectly tranquil setting to laze away a sunny day in comfort. You can also take advantage of Cala Salada’s crystal clear and shallow water makes Cala Salada a perfect spot for a cooling dip in the ocean.
Cala Saida is about a fifteen minute drive from San Antonio, if you chose to come by car there is a small car park offering spaces for sixty five vehicles, however, from June to September, access to this car park is closed between the hours of 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. so if you want to use it you’ll need to get down early. If you arrive by car during this time you’ll be able to park on the road but it is quite a hike to the beach. Alternatively, you can catch a bus from San Antonio bus station or a ferry from San antonio port.
Cala Salada has just about everything you need to make your visit as comfortable as possible. You’ll find a good supply of sunbeds and parasols, the beach is well catered for the disabled with both reserved parking and toilets. There are also lifeguards on duty to keep you safe while in the water and showers to rinse yourself off when you get out. You won’t find much in the way of activities on Cala Salada but, if you fancy a leg workout, there are some pedalos for hire.
Cala Salada has one beach side restaurant, aptly named Cala Salada, this place offer great traditional dishes, we recommend the paella. They also have a small kiosk counter where you’ll find everything you need for a day by the sea.
