Calla Vadella beach is a picturesque and spacious beach near the town of San José. The large bay area is popular with private boat owners who will often anchor there to watch a magical Ibiza sunset.
The beach is easily reached by car and there is a car park, however, during the busy summer months, this can become very congested with spaces at al absolute premium. An easier way to get there is by bus, with services coming from San Antonio, Ibiza Town and San Jose all summer long.
As you would expect, Cala Vadella has all of the amenities need to enjoy a relaxing day at the water’s edge. There is good disabled access to the beach and once there you’ll find a good supply of sunbeds and parasols. If a you fancy a cooling dip in the ocean you can relax knowing that there are lifeguards on duty and you’ll be able to avail of the showers to rinse off afterwards.
There isn’t a whole lot of activities to do on Cala Vadella beach but you can rent pedalos and kayaks and there is a dive school in the area.
Cala Vedella resort offers a good selection of cafes, bars, restaurants and shops within close proximity to the beach, some of which offer great views where you can sit and sip on a cocktail while watching one of Ibiza’s famous sunsets.
