Home Cala Xarraca Beach

Cala Xarraca beach is quiet and isolated beach on the island’s north coast. Located in a large bay and surrounded by beautiful lush green forests, Cala Xarraca is a popular destination for photographers and it’s crystal clear water also attracts the attention of snorkelers. A unique feature of Cala Xarraca is the nearby natural mud bath, which is said to help energise the body and rejuvenate the skin.

Cala Xarraca is about a five minute drive from both Portinatx and San Juan and is only accessible by car, there is a steep road approaching the beach and [parking is very limited.

This is definitely a rather stripped back beach and the only facilities you’ll find here are sunbeds and parasols to make you a bit more comfortable while you’re there. You’ll also be able to rent a pedalo and explore the surrounding coastline if you like.

There is one restaurant on Cala Xarraca beach, it has been run by the same family in the same location for over thirty years and is well known for its fresh seafood and rice dishes.
