Another small beach situated in a quiet cove on the north coast of the island, Cala Xuclar is one of the island’s real hidden gems and rarely gets busy, even in the busy summer months. One of the smallest beaches on the island, Cala Xuclar’s crystal clear water make it one of the best places to go to just get away from it all and have some quality time to yourself.
This beach is situated about a five minute drive from either Portinatx or San Juan and is only accessible by car. Parking spaces are limited but rarely unavailable.
There’s plenty of sunbeds and parasols for a beach of this size but that’s about it as far as facilities are concerned. You can also rent a pedalo to take a little trip around the surrounding coastline.
There is one small beach bar and kiosk on the beach where you’ll be able to buy refreshments and light snacks, if you’re looking for something more substantial than that, you should probably pack some lunch to bring with you.
