Dos And Don’ts Of Booking A Holiday To Ibiza

With the winter now officially here to freeze our asses off for the next three or four months, a lot of you are probably sitting at home fantasizing about having the warm sun on your face while sipping cocktails and relaxing by a pool. If you are, now is probably the perfect time to start thinking about next year’s holiday and what better place to go than Ibiza?

So whether you’ve never been before or you’ve been so man times that it’s hard for you to think for yourself, we’ve put together a short list of dos and don’ts that will make booking your dream holiday that little bit easier and ensure you’ve got something to look forward to over the course of the long and cold winter months.

So, let’s start at the very beginning, the first bit of advice we have for you here is to do some research and find out what the best part of the island for you to visit is. Once you have an idea of what it is you’re looking for and where on the island you’re likely to find it, it’s time for you to make your move and proceed with your booking. In our opinion, we would suggest that you don’t book through a travel agent but do book your own flights and accommodation. You don’t need an agent anymore as you can find everything you need online and if you do want to save some money, booking everything yourself will definitely help.

When deciding on your hotel, there are a few things you should take into account. The first thing you need to do is make sure the hotel caters for your particular needs. If you’re going with a group of mates and looking to party, you don’t want to be stuck in a hotel full of OAPs or families with young children. Then, consider the hotel’s location and where it is in relation to the clubs you want to go to. You don’t want to be staying out in the middle of nowhere to save money because you will end up spending it on taxi fares but if you do find somewhere where you will to travel check the local bus routes as they’re a good way to get around without breaking the bank.

Next thing to think about is booking your flights. Don’t forget that everytime you look at flights, the website will track you search and put the price of the flights up the next time you return. The best thing to do is decide on what dates you want to go, once you do your research and find the cheapest flights, book them there and then. Ibiza is a very popular destination in the summer but not all airlines fly in and out of Ibiza airport every day so just make sure to check that your flights align with your hotel reservation.

Once your’re ready to book, we would advise that you don’t book the very first thing you find. The internet is your friend here but remember that everyone who’s selling something is trying to make money and you will need to look around before you find the best deal so do take your time and make sure you find the best deal available. In saying that, you don’t want to leave your booking until the last minute so if you do your research quickly and get everything booked up nice and early you’ll be in good shape.

If you follow all of our steps you’ll be sure to get your holiday booked in plenty of time and at the best possible price. Is there anything else we should have included? Or is there any other topics you’d like us to cover in out dos and don’ts guide. Let us know your thoughts.
