This time of the year may seem very boring if you’re crazy about Ibiza. Nothings happening on the island, clubs are closed and you’re waiting in anticipation for the 2018 season. Everything is not how it seems however with January being one of the busiest times of the year for promoters trying to book acts and even trying to secure new venues. Club nights could be on the move across the island and a rumour we have heard is that Solomun could be on the move to a new venue for 2018.

The “Solomun + 1” parties are one of the top parties on the island and have called Pacha home for the last five seasons this could all be about to change with rumours of clubbing giants Hï, Ushuaïa and Amnesia now thought to be headhunting the Diynamic boss and his legendary parties.

have been in the rumour mill quite a lot this season already as they look to cement their place as the top Ibiza club. After a season with residencies varying from EDM and Trance to House and Techno, they are trying to lock in the biggest names in underground which seemed to be the busiest nights on their 2017 roster. The draw of Solomun would be unparalleled by any club on the island as he his a man at the top of his game for the last few years and shows no signs of slowing down.

On top of being looked at for , there is a huge possibility that he could take over the stage across the road at Ushuaïa for a daytime party. At Ibiza Club News we are massive Solomun fans and we would be very interested to see how the “+1” parties could translate to a daytime, open-air party. The production levels at both  and Ushuaïa are leaps and bounds ahead of the rest of the island, excluding the obvious in elrow, and that may influence the decision in Solomun’s camp.

Should Solomun decide to leave Pacha, it would change the clubbing landscape across the island and make things very interesting for 2018. One thing for certain is no matter where Solomun goes, crowds will follow.
