On a lineup that was stacked with some of the top talents in dance music, it could have been very difficult to stand out. One act that managed to catch our eye was Irish DJ/Producer, Hybrasil.
The Irishman is no stranger to the limelight having enjoyed huge success over the last year. He has played alongside several high-profile artists in his hometown of Dublin and his releases have seen support from some of the biggest names in the industry with the likes of Richie Hawtin, wAFF, Gregor Treshor and more playing his tracks across the globe.
He opened the Terrace last night in Privilege for one of the biggest nights of the year and he took the opportunity he had by the horns. A consistent flow and groove to the set are paramount to any DJs success but it all seemed so natural for Hybrasil. The crowd grooved along with the vibe the Irishman set from the start of his set which featured several of his own tracks.
His tracks Anu, Analogue Hype and Merkaba were three standouts from the set that garnered not just praise but respect from all over the club. After a huge year playing alongside acts like Jeff Mills, Maceo Plex, KiNK, Moderat and many more, the future is incredibly bright for Hybrasil who’s career is on the verge of skyrocketing!
