The San Antonio council are preparing new plans which will remove all outdoor terraces from the streets of the West End for summer 2017.
The new measure is being introduced to try and reduce noise levels in the area throughout the summer months.
The new law will only affect the West End and not the surrounding areas. So will we see lots of terraces popping up in the surrounding streets? We will have to wait and see!
The council plans to either stop licensing these terraces or demand that they tables and chairs be brought in by an 11pm curfew.
There are currently 150 residents living around the West End, all of whom are kept awake at night from the sounds of tills ringing. Sorry, we mean loud customers on terraces!
